Season 2 of Agent Carter started with a 2-hour season premiere, and hit the ground running with a lot of intrigue, action… and, Bernard.  It picks up some strings from the previous season while taking things in a whole new direction with a new Hollywood setting.  Of particular note were the new characters of Whitney Frost, who looks like she’ll be Peggy’s nemesis this season, and Jason Wilkes, the adorkable scientist who is set up as a love interest for Peggy, but whose fate is left uncertain at the end of the episodes.

Iron Man 2 is the third MCU film to be made, and deals with issues of legacy, mortality, and depression.  It’s a film with character and narrative issues, but is still entertaining and a worthy addition to the MCU.  It introduced audiences to Black Widow, as well as the War Machine armor and Don Cheadle as Rhodey.

Captain America: the First Avenger was an excellent example of how MCU films would eventually fall into genres that happened to include comic book characters.
